Ferrous Chloride

Chemical Formula: FeCl2

Ferrous chloride solution is a clear, dark green solution containing 18% to 33% ferrous chloride (8% - 14% Fe). It is NSF/ANSI Standard 60 certified for use in potable water. It is used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment for hexavalent chrome (Cr+6) reduction; odor and corrosion control; dechlorination; phosphate precipitation; and arsenic reduction. Additional uses include being used as a micronutrient and a manufacturing intermediate. Many concentrations available upon request.
